Among speculation that the band, Alice in Chains, may be recording a new album sometime in the near future, possibly in 2010, the group will also tour in 2010. Could this be the beginnings of a promotion for a possible new album for fans to look forward to? Or is this tour in 2010 really just to promote the band's fourth studio album, Black Gives Way to Blue, which came out in 2009.
