Maxwell is currently on tour on his first live tour since 2002. The R&B artist describes the tour as 'a pre-party tour celebration' to promote his upcoming trilogy of albums - 'Black Summers' Night'. Maxwell's 'crew' on the tour will be his old team - Sade's band. The tour continues in Oakland this week and will move through Vegas, LA, Houston and Washington, before ending spectacularly in New York on the 23rd of November.
While 'Black' will release this year, 'Summers'' and 'Night' are due out over the next two years i.e. in 2009 and 2010 respectively. His previous album 'Now' sold nearly two million copies in the US alone.
