Celebrating over 40 years in music, the little band that started in Hanover, Germany, the Scorpions, will retire their career in the best way possible - by bringing all of that heavy metal music that made them famous to their fans all across the world! In March 2010, the Scorpions released their seventeenth album, Sting in the Tail and shortly after, the band announced that it would be the final album for the band as they geared up for retirement. Not before going on the Sting and Blackout World Tour 2010 though! This tour spans the globe and makes stops in Europe, South America, Canada, and the United States, to name just a few of the lucky countries that will get to see this band live for the last time. Currently, only dates until November 2010 have been released but there have been rumors that this tour won't end until 2011 or 2012 so, we might be seeing additions towards the end of the year!
