The Smashing Pumpkins recently announced dates for their fall tour of 2008. While the official tour starts on 1st November in Cleveland, the group will also be a part of the concert in Mountain View supporting the 'Neil and Pegi Young's Bridge School Benefit'. The band will also be visiting the Pumpkins' hometown of Chicago on two pairs of consecutive days for concerts.
An alternative rock band which was formed in Chicago nearly two decades ago, the group had disbanded in 2000 after tasting a lot of success with their album 'Siamese Dream' in 1993. However, the band reunited in 2006 and has since released the album 'Zeitgeist', which entered the charts at number two.
