Hard Rock band Velvet Revolver announced world tour, supporting their upcoming album Libertad, planned to hit shelves in June 2007. North American leg of the trek lists 11 dates, and includes such cities as San Francisco (CA), Seattle (WA), Chicago (IL), Toronto (ON), Washington (DC), and Columbus (OH). The leg kicks off May 4 in Hollywood (CA), and wraps up May 22 in New York City (NY). Velvet Revolver, consisting mostly of former Guns N' Roses members, released its debut Grammy-winning album Contraband in 2004. Band's lineup is Weiland (vocals), Slash (guitar), Duff McKagan (bass), Matt Sorum (drums), and Dave Kushner (guitar).
